Development Project Specialist
The Development Project Specialist is a temporary staff position that will assist with implementing member management and outreach. While day-to-day operations are led by the Development Director, the Development Project Specialist will report to the Director, and their capacity for collaboration is both critical and expected. Specific Development Project Specialist responsibilities include:
Support the transition of member data from our previous platform to a new system. Responsibilities may include cross-referencing data between platforms and verifying manually entered information. Additionally, assist with ensuring timely responses to membership inquiries and processing invoices for new members. Proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel is highly preferred.
Committing to 3-5 hours each week, including a bi-weekly 1-hour meeting for 10 weeks or until the project is complete.
Ensuring coordination among the staff for participation in member development and outreach.
Serving as a trusted advisor to the Development Director and Executive Director in developing and implementing VGA’s strategic plan.
Partnering with the Development Director, Executive Director, and other staff to ensure that the organization's purpose and mission are carried out.
Serving on committees or task forces and taking on special assignments.
Representing VGA to stakeholders; acting as an ambassador for the organization.
Ensuring VGA’s commitment to a diverse staff that reflects the communities the organization serves.
